“I’m thrilled to have been requested to join the NASSCOM National SME Council for 2019-2021. This platform will help me meet the people who act as glue and bring the industry together,” John said. “As a team, we can shape the future of India, specifically, the SME sector.”
The SME Council plays the role of the ‘think-tank’ and ‘business accelerator’ to help SMEs in India prosper and build focused programs to stimulate their growth journey. Fred will provide valuable feedback and collaborate with other council members helping shape the main agenda of a Developed Digital India and build initiatives for accelerating SME growth and impacting the country and the overall IT BPM industry.
“Fred’s representation on the SME Council is no surprise. He is a strategic leader with a keen vision for the future and a strong dedication to service,” said David Lesniak, CEO – Personiv. “We are proud to support him as he helps guide the IT BMP industry forward through his efforts at NASSCOM.”
NASSCOM’s SME Council was formed in 2017 with the goal to help small businesses with their specific challenges, as they noticed the industry focusing only on larger software companies and leaving behind the SME sector.
