Here's a confession: we've been working on something behind the scenes here at Personiv. There's nothing new there – since we're always operating under the maxim that "anything can be improved", it's tough to catch us at a time that we aren't working on something we hope our clients and team members will find valuable. Today, however, we're beyond pleased to announce the newest addition to our resource library by introducing the world to our new podcast, CFO Weekly, and reintroducing the podcast's host, our very own VP and General Manager of FAO Services, Megan Weis.

Our New 'CFO Weekly' Podcast is All About You, Finance Leaders

There really is a podcast that covers almost every niche these days, whether you're a true crime buff or a writing instrument aficionado. There's even more than one podcast literally devoted to the examination of niches. We got to know quite a few of those when we were rounding up our favorite accounting-themed podcasts.

When we were in the process of rounding those up, however, we couldn't help but notice the conspicuous absence of podcasts specifically for financial leadership: the CFOs, controllers, and other financial leaders that our team works with, learns from and talks to every single day.

So, we conceived of CFO Weekly as a place for leadership to tackle their pain points, swap battle stories and learn from one another – it's a podcast that cuts through the buzzwords and content dead ends to deliver actual insights. We want listeners to come away with new perspectives, ideas and strategies for building efficiency in their teams, create time for strategy, meet the ever-changing demands of a constantly evolving leadership role and ultimately get results. Megan has been a CPA for over 20 years and has over 15 years of experience working in the outsourcing industry. She'll be hosting CFO Weekly because she has some serious bona fides as a Six-Sigma green belt with an MBA from Duke's Fuqua School of Business. Weis has had a front row seat to the changing landscape of finance departments everywhere and speaks to leaders every day who are navigating its challenges.
