The problem of plastic and other debris on the shores is an issue of grave concern because of its deleterious effects on the aquatic life and on the ecosystem. Taking into account the ill-effect of plastic pollution, the Rotaract Club of Personiv, in partnership with Rotary Club of Coimbatore, Greencity, gathered at the banks of Valankulam Lake, Sungam Bypass, Ramanathapuram on August 8, 2020 & conducted a shore cleanup activity.
