Personiv Gurugram, as part of its commitment towards providing for the society, held a CSR campaign – Help the Blind, Spread Some Smile – at the AICB Special School for the Blind, outside of Gurugram on February 24, 2018.
An Initiative to Support the Blind
The day turned out to be one of the most heart touching experiences for the 60-plus Personiv Gurugram team members as they spent time with more than 120 visually impaired children (support the blind) of the school and observed them reading and writing the Braille letters immaculately. The beautiful day included the students displaying tremendous talent by performing well-choreographed dance sequences and singing some soulful songs. Personiv Gurugram displayed its pledge by sponsoring students’ Braille kits for the entire year and distributing packaged snacks to them.
Thanking the employees who participated in the support the blind campaign, Vishal Bora, EVP – Site Head, said, “Your compassion for the little children and the support you extended demonstrated the real spirit of our responsibility towards providing for our society.” He further said, “I sincerely appreciate your commitment – because of you, our community is stronger, and hundreds of lives are improved.”
