Shared Services and Outsourcing Network (SSON) — the largest shared services and outsourcing network in the world — held a gala in on November 19 to honor the "Best of the Best" shared service providers in the Asian market during the Shared Services and Outsourcing Week Impact Awards (SSOW) in Singapore.

Among the select few singled out for distinction were Personiv's Manila team and the exceptional shared services and outsourcing initiatives the team has implemented for the clients to whom it provides exceptional service.

The Bronze Impact Award in Best Outsourcing Partnership

Recognizes relationships between shared services providers and their corporate clients that are so well attuned that the results of that partnership are exceptional, lasting and lucrative. The accolade shines a light on Personiv's unique global culture that begins by prioritizing employee well-being as the foundation of a company and client's successful partnership. From that genesis, Personiv is an outlier in the BPO industry because of the white-glove service and custom solutions it provides for corporate clients.

Personiv is a family-founded business that opened its doors in 1985 with father and son duo Norman and Evan Green. It's fitting, then, that it would owe its success and this latest recognition to a culture of employee engagement that has created what many of Personiv's more than 3,000 employees describe as a family of its own, despite being spread over three continents.

David Lesniak, CEO, expressed his enthusiastic pride in Personiv for the recognition, reiterating that the formula for award-winning outsourcing partnerships has two core ingredients: consistent quality and prioritizing investment in talent.

Personiv Manila's Executive Vice President and Site Head Paulo Cheung agreed, citing the hard work of the Manila team as the reason for winning such a strong award in the outsourcing industry.

"We are very elated in receiving this award for Personiv Manila," Cheung said. "This is our second award this year and we dedicate this award to all Personiv employees who carry out and support the innovative strategies that we put in place."

Cheung went on to cite engagement initiatives like Personiv Manila's "We Hear You" communication channel that goes straight from FTEs at any level to the EVP himself; World-class benefits for employees and their families; and 'Personiv University', a learn-and-earn program that equips employees with new skills and a clear path forward in their careers.

Among the measurable results recognized by SSON with the Impact Award is the increase in FTEs at Personiv's Manila site, from just 120 in 2014 to a headcount of over a thousand just five years later. This growth is driven by Personiv's customer-centric delivery model and the rejection of rigid outsourcing processes in favor of individualized ones driven by each client's vision. That's allowed the site's revenue to increase by 300 percent in that same five-year span.
