Personiv employees took time this month to visit Manila’s Haven for Children, providing art classes, beautifying the facility and giving donations and medication to the rescued children of the home. Haven for Children is a residential facility run by the Department of Social Welfare and Development helping rescued boys ages 7-18, who have been abandoned and abused.
Haven for Children Visit
Volunteers from Personiv, conducted a day of art classes to the 86 residents and shared lunch with them, while other volunteers used their artistic talent to paint a mural that will make the facility clinic more welcoming and comforting to patients for years to come.
Weeks before the event, Personiv’s operations and support teams donated their own money for the children’s urgently needed medicines. Their total donation was P23,180. The money was used to purchase Resiperidone, Phenobarbital, Zelexin, Plemex and Trizole. The day of service ended with employees donating these medicines as well as much-needed supplies to the administrators of Haven.
