CFO-focused Content & Events Recognized Alongside Rising Digital Marketing Star
Top finance and accounting outsourcing provider Personiv was named the winner of three Stevie® Awards in the 21st annual American Business Awards today, taking Gold in the Best Business Podcast category and Bronze in both the Brand & Experience – Thought Leadership and Marketer of the Year categories.
The American Business Awards® are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Personiv was judged against more than 3,700 company entries nationwide, ranging across a wide array of industries and categories.
“I am proud of what our team has accomplished in bringing quality, CFO-focused content to the market that engages, informs and inspires,” David Lesniak, CEO of Personiv said. “At Personiv, our focus has always been, first and foremost, our people. To see our own team, including award-winner Erick Sánchez, recognized through the prestigious Stevie®- award-giving body, is truly gratifying, and I am happy to share in their success.”
This is the second Gold Stevie® for Best Business Podcast CFO Weekly, which was first recognized in 2020 in the category's inaugural year in the 17th Annual Stevie® International Business Awards®. Now in its third year, the podcast airs frank conversations between host Megan Weis, VP of FAO services at Personiv, and finance executives of all stripes: tracking the unconventional career paths of teachers-turned-C-Suite-leaders, CFOs using their talents to fund social justice initiatives and thought leaders on the bleeding edge of accounting automation technology.
The podcast has garnered a reputation that sees its guest lineup booked months in advance and has even inspired an in-person quarterly thought leadership event, CFO Leadership Live, which was, in turn, awarded the Bronze Stevie® this year.
“Taking our CFO Weekly show on ‘on the road’ with CFO Leadership LIVE has allowed us to reach more finance leaders and kickstart the conversation on challenges, goals and growth in an actionable, in-person setting,” said Lydia Adams, VP marketing & communications at Personiv. “It’s exciting to see our content in both the podcast, and on our panels, resonate with so many CFOs, controllers and corporate finance professionals who are leading top U.S. companies across industries and verticals.”
Erick Sánchez, Personiv's digital marketing specialist, was also honored this year with a Bronze Stevie® in the Marketer of the Year category for his many accomplishments and contributions as the steward of — and subject matter expert on — Personiv's content library and digital footprint.
“It is a great honor for me to receive the Marketer of the Year Award from the prestigious Stevie® Awards,” Sánchez said. “I feel very grateful for this recognition, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the organizers and judges of this event. This award is the result of the hard work and dedication of my entire Personiv marketing team and would not have been possible without their collaboration. I want to thank them, alongside my wife and family, for their unwavering and tireless support.”
