Daryl, a proud member of Personiv Manila, is a dedicated and compassionate team member with exceptional leadership skills. He is known for his pleasing charisma and for his remarkable skills of inspiring and encouraging people at work. Daryl is an IT graduate with a professional certification in Graphic Designing from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. He is also an active member/player of Personiv Patriots – the Basketball team of Personiv Manila.

Q&A with Daryl
1. In which role did you start your career and when?
Can’t believe it's been 10 amazing years already!
It all began in November 2009 when I turned my passion of graphic designing into a full-fledged career and started my incredible journey as a Graphic Designer at Personiv. I was responsible for designing creative pages for the then biggest telephone directory of businesses, Yellow pages.
At Personiv, I am enjoying every bit of my job. It is a company which has given me wings to let my creative imagination fly high. For me, graphic designing is a part of my lifestyle now because I feel art is life and life without art is no life at all.
2. What is your current title and role?
I am currently working as an Operations Manager for the Digital Fulfillment team. As on OPS Manager, I ensure timely completion of daily tasks assigned to the team leaders and to the frontline team. I am also responsible for reviewing the quality standards of all the deliverables and ensuring that all internal and external specifications set out for the job are met on consistent basis. Quality being one of the core values of Personiv, I believe in putting quality before anything else.
3. How has been your journey within Personiv?
While it has been a roller coaster ride but seriously, it is worth every effort. Personiv taught me how to work smarter and with a purpose. They allowed me to grip all that I've got as a person rather than struggle with everything that I am not. My journey with Personiv is one of the best wanders I have ever been on.
4. Why do you enjoy working at Personiv?
I enjoy working at Personiv because they walk the talk. Their commitment to Giving Back is not just limited to the communities but also to their employees. Personiv knows how to value the efforts of its people by honoring them for their achievements through various Rewards and Recognition programs. Also, Personiv has created a wonderful workplace because they care like a family. And this family culture has helped develop a great camaraderie with each other despite coming from different walks of life. What else can you ask for?
5. What is the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is the fact that I can be of help to anyone who requires direction whenever they feel deviated from their path. I'm thankful that my leaders have entrusted me to provide one-on-one coaching while providing the best of the resources. And because of that trust, I'm able to contribute to the growth of many aspiring employees and feel responsible for charting out their journeys. Personally, it makes my heart full knowing that my little ways can help change the life of a person.
6. What makes you feel #PersonivProud?
I am #PersonivProud because of the unwavering support Personiv is consistently providing to each of us. Personiv keeps its people informed and empowers them by way of various training and developmental programs, which really helps us to expand our professional and personal capabilities and become a better version of ourselves.
7. Something you like to do outside of work?
I spend my off time playing basketball, which by far is my favorite thing in the world. I feel like I'm at home when I'm inside the court. I feel great every time I play. I owe my self-esteem and mental stability in this game!
