Kelly is an Engineering graduate and did his post-graduation in Management. His innate affinity towards visual arts encouraged him to take a shot at Professional Diploma in Information Technology (Java Track). He can often be found in coffee shops doodling and drawing. In fact, he was one of the few artists whose work was appreciated and featured in this year’s Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf planner.

Q&A with Kelly
In which role did you start your career and when?
I started off as a college lecturer teaching Computer Science, Information Technology and Engineering (Computer and Electronics & Communications) to students. After several semesters, I decided to pursue what I really had my heart on - graphic designing. I briefly worked as a graphic artist before shifting to the web designer role where I created animated and static websites. Thereafter, I got an opportunity to join a digital advertising agency as an Art Director responsible for carrying out digital tasks for two advertising companies in Manila. That was my last engagement before joining Personiv.
What is your current title and role?
Currently, I am engaged as the Director of Operations (Operations Head for Digital Creatives)
How has been your journey within Personiv?
My journey with Personiv is full of learning experiences. During the last 6 years, I got numerous opportunities to ideate, experiment, and execute ideas. At times I had to operate outside my comfort zone but that was totally worth it because such situations teach you to challenge yourself and learn and grow. Personiv supports you through regular training programs to ensure we remain in shape and handle tasks efficiently.
Why do you enjoy working at Personiv?
Well, out of many reasons, one main reason I enjoy working at Personiv is because of its growth-oriented culture, of learning and development both.
What is the best thing about your job?
The fact that we operate in a superior learning environment and are provided the best training methodologies and tools to making us grow as competitive professionals is the best thing about my job.
What makes you feel #PersonivProud?
I feel lucky to be trusted with taking care of a portion of the Personiv business. Together with my team, we strive hard to making our clients happy and keeping our people contended at the same time.
Something you like to do outside of work?
I am a visual artist. I like creating drawings, paintings and other creative crafts whenever I have free time. Lately, I have started enjoying watching movies and shows on Netflix.
